A pleasant holiday among friendly English-speaking people, Malta, this
compact, historic island of the Mediterranean, once celebrated stronghold of
the Knights of St John, Malta has year-around sunshine, mysterious Neolithic
ruins, medieval cities and millions of balconies
Itinerary:
Day 1 Friday - Individual arrival . Transfer from airport to your
hotel. Overnight.
Day 2 Saturday - After breakfast
full day tour to the Island
of Gozo. After a twenty-minute crossing, on setting foot in Gozo you
will notice that although both islands are similar in history and
development, Gozo has a character entirely of its own. Gozo, which is a
three-hilled island, is greener and more picturesque than Malta. Visit
the temples of Ggantija, the citadel in Victoria, the bay of Xlendi and the
Azur Window at Dwejra. Free time for shopping. Gozo is renowned for its woolen goods and
handmade lace.
Day 3. Sunday - Breakfast at your
hotel. Free day to relax or optional full day tour to the Blue
Grotto & Limestone Heritage -Euro
34 per person). Discover the Southern
part of Malta. After having visited the fishing villages of Marsaxlokk
and Birzebuggia we proceed to the fabled Blue Grotto where there will be
the possibility of admiring the grottoes closely. (Boat price not
included – weather permitting). Lunch is served in one of the
picturesque villages. Continue on to the Tarxien Temples, a group
of three Neolithic temples that due to their very good state of
preservation provided plentiful evidence of the skill and artistic
abilities of our forefathers. Our day comes to an end when you will be
guided through the cave of Ghar Dalam, one of the first habitats of
prehistoric times on these islands.
Day 4 Monday - After breakfast pick up at your hotel for a half
day city tour of the capital city, Valetta.(In October, tour in
the afternoon and morning free) This guided tour through the bustling
streets will first allow you to view the Barracca Gardens with its
breathtaking view of the Grand Harbour. Than visit St. John's Cathedral with
its world famous Caravaggio painting. You will also visit the Church Museum
that is adorned with Flemish tapestries. Enjoy the view from the outside at
the Grand Master's Palace and the many other historical buildings with their
famous balconies. Lastly a stop at the Malta Experience, a multi vision show
that depicts Malta's history throughout the ages. Afternoon free. Overnight
at your hotel.
Day 5 Tuesday - After breakfast half day tour to the old medieval
capital of Mdina. During our walk in the "silent city", we visit the
cathedral and the imposing bastions which allow us to admire a panorama of
most of the island. Later we proceed to Dingli Cliffs. At the end of the
tour stop at the botanic gardens of San Anton.
Afternoon free. Overnight at your hotel.
Day 6 Wednesday- Breakfast at your hotel. Free day to relax or to
take an
optional Harbour Cruise - Half Day tour -(Euro
32 per person).
On boarding
our pleasure boat we sail to visit the natural ports of Marsamxett and the
Grand Harbour whose natural creeks make this post one of the most beautiful
in Europe. The views of the fortifications from the seaward side are unique
and a treasure for photographers

7 Thursday -
Breakfast at your hotel. Transfer to the airport or optional extensions.
