ITINERARY
Day 1: Departure from Paris: 4 Place
des Pyramides/ Palais Royal at 7: 15 am. We take the Normandy motorway. Guided walking
tour of the old center of Rouen (Gros Horloge, Cathedral and the Square where
Joan of Arc was burnt at the Stake). View the newly built Normandy bridge.
Honfleur : free time for lunch. Deauville. Pegasus Bridge. The British Landing
beaches (Sword) Caen (visit to the American cemetary of Saint Laurent). Dinner and
overnight at Novotel Caen (or similar).
Day 2 : We leave Caen at 7:30 am in the direction of Brittany. Visit to
Saint-Malo, city of pirates. Free time for lunch. Guided visit to the abbey of
the Mont-Saint-Michel. Dinner and overnight in Angers at the Mercure-Lac de
Maine hotel (or similar).
Day 3 : We leave Angers at 8am (short stop at Chateau d'Angers
for taking photos). Pass by Cunault and Saumur. Guided visit to the castle of
Langeais. Amboise : lunch on your own. Guided visit to the Clos-Lucé,
Leonardo da Vinci's final dwelling place. Visit to the gardens of Villandry.
Dinner and overnight in Tours at the Mercure Tours Nord Hotel (or similar).
Day 4 : Guided visit to the castles of Chenonceau and Cheverny.
Farewell lunch at Hotel Saint-Hubert. Guided visit to Chambord castle. Return
to Paris around 7pm.
Tour includes :
